Community Events and Education

EventsEducation, awareness and financial wellness drive our conversations with families about saving for college.  Washington's 529 College Savings Plans (WA529), the Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) Program and DreamAhead College Investment Plan, will help you reach future financial goals and make dreams a reality.

You will find us at a variety of events such as :

  • Employer benefit and wellness fairs, work site trainings, and 'Lunch and Learns'
  • School events, meetings and activities.
  • Conferences, such as the Principals and Superintendents, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Financial Planners and others.
  • Family, children and community resource fairs.

Check our calendar below to find out when a WA529 representative will be in your area, or email us at WA529Outreach@wsac.wa.gov to request a representative for your event/activity.

Webinars and the WA529 Knowledge Cafe

The WA529 Knowledge Cafe is our virtual learning center, where you can attend our webinars to learn about the Washington College Savings Plans (the GET Program and DreamAhead Plan), ask questions and gather resources that support educational goals. Can't attend a full webinar? Drop in on one of the Monday "Q&A with WA529" sessions to ask questions. A WA529 representative will be available to help.

All webinars and virtual meetings are free and open to the public. Check the event calendar for dates, times and registration.
